Create Directories
Use the Directories tab on the Client Actions tab to create named file hierarchies that you can use for server transactions when the Body Content Type is Files from Directory. The file hierarchy is treated as a single transaction profile.
The Directories resource allows you to manage configuration data referenced by name in the server transaction profile. The directories are not part of the server profile, but are separate, nameable entities. For more information about specifying a directory in the server transaction profile, as well as specifying the directory's files in an Action list, see the .
To create a directory:
- In the Directories tab on the Client Actions tab, click the New button
. A directory dialog box appears. - Navigate to, and select the directory that you want to use, and then click Open. The file hierarchy appears in the right pane with the Directory Name at the top. All the directory names that you create appear in the left pane.
NOTE: The hierarchy name must contain only alpha-numeric characters and underscores. Spaces, other special characters, and URL encoding are not allowed. The hierarchy name is case sensitive.
- Use the other buttons in the left pane to copy, rename, or delete a named directory.
