Event Log Data Window

The Event Log Data window displays various events as they occur during a test run. This data is used to troubleshoot the system, and is intended primarily for support engineers.

You configure the types of events (levels) that you want displayed in the Run Configure tab. The following are the event log level definitions:

NOTE: If you set the Event Logs Level to 0 (Debug) or 1 (Info), you may see a degradation in performance because of the large number of logs being generated.

The default level is 3 (Warning).

Based on the level number you selected, its events, plus those of all the higher levels are displayed. For example, if you selected 3 (Warning), then events for 3, 4, and 5 are displayed. If you selected 0 (Debug), then events for all levels are displayed.

The following is a sample event log configured for level 1 (Info) events.

You can change the types of events displayed during or after a test run in the Run Configure tab by selecting a new event log level, and re-displaying (closing and re-opening) the Event Log Data window.

NOTE: Event log data is saved for each test run, based on the Event Logs Level. You can access the event log file (called event.log) by Analyzing Test Results in the Results tab.
