Server Authentications Tab

Use the Server Authentications tab to create authentication profiles to associate with a server. The authentication profile contains a list of user names and passwords.

Field Description
Select an Authentication Profile to Edit Select the authentication profile that you want to edit. You can also use the adjacent buttons to create, copy, delete, or rename a profile.

 

NOTE: If you delete a profile associated with an advanced test, it becomes unavailable to other tests within the project.

User name and password options:
Use default name and password Select to use the default user name and password. "Default" appears for both in the table entry.
Enter names and passwords Select to enter user names and passwords via the buttons below the table.
User Name The user name string for authentication.
Password The password string for authentication.
Buttons

New: Displays a pop-up window, in which you enter a user name/password to create a table entry.

Delete: Deletes the selected user name/password table entry.

Import: Displays a dialog box, in which you navigate to, and select a CSV file that you want to use, and then click Import. The imported text appears in the user name/password table.

The following is a CSV file example:

User001,Password001

User002,Password002

User003,Password003
