Using Spirent TestCenter to Test eCPRI
Spirent TestCenter allows you to create complex tests to validate 5G Common Public Radio Interface implementations.
eCPRI Test Setup Overview
The procedure for testing devices with Spirent TestCenter is similar, regardless of the protocol being tested.
As shown in the Common Router Test Procedure, Spirent TestCenter provides a Create Devices Wizard that simplifies configuration by combining several steps into one automated procedure for multiple protocols.
Setting up an eCPRI test
To configure eCPRI test setup parameters manually, in the system tree at the left of the Test Configuration window select a device or All Devices, and then select the eCPRI tab. (If the tab is not available.)

Set up eCPRI devices.
- Check the Active checkbox for each device in the test.
- Configure the parameters for the devices.
- Configure eCPRI messages.
- Configure eCPRI ORAN messages.
- Run the test.
