Configuring Ports
Use the Ports tab to configure various features, such as Virtual Router and DDOS (client only), on a per-port basis. You can configure ports for both the client and the server.
The tab contains a table that you maintain by adding and removing rows. Each row defines a different configuration.
To configure ports:
- Select the test with which you want to work.
- Click the Client tab or the Server tab, depending on what you want to configure.
- Click the Ports tab. The Client Ports tab or the Server Ports tab appears depending on your selection in the previous step.
- Click the Add Port button to add a row to the table. (To edit an existing configuration, click the row that you want to change.)
- Click the Port table cell and use the drop-down menu to select a port to configure.
- Select Gratuitous ARP if you want to broadcast an ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) request with the port's IP address at the beginning of each test.
- Use the sub-tabs to configure various features. For example, to define a virtual router, enter information in the Virtual Router sub-tab.
